Prayer is a language that each of us speaks and hears in a different way. Rabbi Goodman has challenged us to hear our own voice in the Torah and in our prayers. When we pray together, we try to find meaning within the chorus of diverse voices.
Through a wide range of truly meaningful spiritual experiences, we offer something for everyone, including Weekly Friday Night Shabbat Services, Special Holiday Services, Saturday Torah Study, and Judiasm-based Adult Education.
Our services are fully egalitarian (men and women participate equally). We believe we have found a healthy balance between the traditional and the creative. Services are a mix of Hebrew and English. We use both traditional and contemporary melodies. In the spirit of inclusiveness, all present are asked to participate, whether they are wholly Jewish, Jewish by choice, or not Jewish.
